- I am married to the love of my life. We will be celebrating our 42nd anniversary in April. I am the mother to 2 fabulous daughters which have given me 6 grandchildren to love, 3 girls & 3 boys. They are all the "light of my life" and call me Mimi. I love all things vintage, especially beautiful millinery flowers, fabric, lace & rhinestone jewelry & buttons. They seem to make my heart just melt...I think about those days of long ago and how the treasures I find were worn, used or made. I get excited when I find something new (vintage).
Good morning, Sweet Mary! OOOOOH Girl...I love, love, love Ellen Clapsaddle, too! Such a talented woman with a somewhat tragic life. Did you know she died penniless? She did. Fires in Europe destroyed almost (if not all!) of her original artwork and she ended up back in America...she eventually died fairly young.
